personally i found school is very boring..but i have not outlet to do so..at school i just bring my surval kit aka cellphone.someone to hang.food.drinks.etc.and never forgets about music...so the time well past by. school for me is well go cracy!is a high school so i cant expect much

i agrree with these tips and think they will workk to better grades but im still unsure about my consernetration i find i t hard to keep upp with work during class becuase i try and keep up with the gossip in notes with my friends how can i get better grades wen my friends are writing notes.if i leave the notes then what will i talk about at lunch time with the girls then ill be left out and struggle with that too.please help me
Well if they are ingnoring you at lunch cause you want to do better in school it is obvious that they are not your friends so stick with the books and find friends who wants to do well in school also, and you will be good. Have Fun.

i think that these tips are really great im sure if everybody followed even a few of them your grades would increase quickly!!! i follow all of these tips and have a good balance of school work and social life. i use the weekends and lunch time to chat with friends but class time is 100% concentrating time xx

I think these tips are great. I agree with each and every point made on this page. My own tips are basically what is mentioned here- ~ Study Hard. You may not think its 'cool' or you may have other things to do but it will help you out in the meantime. ~ Don't Get Caught Up With Your Peers. Sure, hanging out with your friends and talking during class sounds great, but you have plenty of time to do that outside school. School only lasts 6hours a day. So spare some of that for your education. ~ Sleep & Breakfast. Not getting enough sleep (because you were up all night watching Californication or 7pm Project) and then skipping breakfast is not a good combination. Give your body the energy it needs to last the day!

Hey someone mentioned this before and was soooo right- Why is it that people who are considered 'popular', have the bitter qualities of an unpopular person, i mean, no one likes them apart from themselves in the grade. Is it because of their appearance, which for 'the plastics' as we call them, is just an excessive amount of makeup usually? + go dolly these rock!

Firstly, i wish to commend you on your great tips (go dolly, woo! lol) but I also wish to add my input, along with the above comments. 'Surviving school', on the most part, can be described as difficult- due to the fact that at most schools, there is little personality diversity. There may be much mulitculturism, however, most don't escape eltism during high-school. Out of pure curiousity, I wonder why (and i'm sure you also do) there always seems to be a 'popular group' in every year level- and why is it that the people that are part of this group, have the most un-favourable, dis-tasteful charactistics and attributes? Another question I often ask is 'what's the time span on shallowness and superficialness', as I often find, simply upon meeting other high-school students, that they will judge and criticise you heavily solely on your appearance. Hopefully, as these students move into university and gain some maturity, they will come to a point of realisation in their lives.

This is really, the basics of college. Every teen varies, but it's always helpful to know basic education like this that is the average of every school life. Yainee.

yes i will do this becoz i am a nerd and i love the teachers. i love reading and working and studying and sucking up to the teachers you no.. giving them manicures and massages the usual. but there is one problem... its the friends part... you see i dont have any friends now (except the teachers) and i am not even good at making new ones so yes. i would love to hang out in the library some time so.. catcha there xx from ur nerd friend tan
